One of my clients is a holistic dentist and runs a very successful office in Los Angeles. As his business has grown he has noticed less time to attend to his own health. The irony here is that his job is to promote good health but cannot attend to his own. I find this to be very common in the coaching industry where our jobs are to remind our clients of staying in good health while some of us don’t practice what we preach. So what are some small steps we can take?
Just Fifteen Minutes A Day
The first thing I recommended to my holistic dentist client was for him to wake up fifteen minutes earlier and use this time to just stretch and breathe. It is very important that we get into our bodies and center ourselves before we start our day. This fifteen minutes will make a world of difference. It is amazing how if we just check in with ourselves, set an intention for the day, breathe, stretch, and then go off into the world how this will drastically change certain outcomes in our lives.
