Are career opportunity lights glimmering?

I must say that I am very proud of you for taking some time in meditation. Hopefully at this point you have a page of well rounded thoughts written down. Remember these are your past dreams that led to glimpses of your future life and career.
Now is the time to read what you wrote. On your pad of paper you should have written down a couple of “jobs” you once thought might be the way of your career future. I am so glad you became acquainted with meditation. Re-read your career dreams. You may find that some fall into the same industry or field of work. Let’s try to narrow your list to around 3 different careers. If you only have 1 in mind that is just fine. If you see 5 or 6 we might have to work a little bit more in planning. Somewhere around the title make a few chicken scratches as to why you think that particular career suits you. By this I mean think about why you would have chosen this career in your past. Many times life events lead you to ambitions dreams that are really not your cup-of-tea. Take for example, a loved one was involved in a traumatic medical event and you determined right then that you were going to be a Doctor/Nurse/X-Ray tech/etc. After careful consideration that dream may have became unrealistic based on who you are. (I don’t like the sight of blood either!)
Step 2 is more reflection. Now before you stop reading let me say that this part will be fun. So much fun in fact I want you to laugh out loud if the mood strikes. On the next sheet of paper I want you to write down everything you enjoy. Ask yourself questions like, “What do I like to do for fun?”, “What do I like to do to relax?”, “What gives me enjoyment?”, “What do I do now that makes me feel good about myself?”
