Silence Your Inner Critic

We all have an inner critic. When we were younger it kept us safe. As we got older it became a bully. Learn to silence your inner critic.
Does your inner critic create fear and hold you back in your life?
You know, it’s that nagging voice that bullies you and keeps you from stepping out of your comfort zone, making critical decisions, or taking steps that would allow you to become the best version of yourself?
Here are some examples of what your inner critic might say:
• You can’t do that
• You’re not good enough.
• You don’t deserve a promotion.
• You should have done something different.
• You won’t succeed.
Do you recognize yourself in any of these? If so, you’re not alone!
As a child, your inner voice was there to keep you safe, but as you grew into an adult, it became a bully.
We all have that little voice inside us that expresses criticism, frustration, and shares its disapproval with the choices we’ve made.
Its M.O. is to rob you of your joy, create self-doubt, lower your self-esteem, and keep you from living the life you deserve.
Furthermore, the more it talks, the more you believe the lies it is telling you.
It’s time to realize that nothing it says is the truth.
What is the truth?
The truth is that:
You are enough, just as you are, this very second.
You are whole and complete just as you are.
You are not broken.
You are worthy, capable, and deserving.
Let’s face it, you are FABULOUS!
Deep down you know you shouldn’t buy into the little voice, but it can find your vulnerabilities and wreak havoc on your life.
It’s time to tell your inner critic to get the hell out of your head!
Every time you hear your inner critic begin to spout its bullying words SHOUT:
I AM NOT GOING THERE!
I AM CAPABLE!
I AM ENOUGH!
Don’t let that little voice control your life anymore.
You deserve to live the life you want, on your terms.
