You wake up one morning like you do every morning. Your alarm clock has woken you up again. The sun is shining through your windows, greeting you with a new day. But today is different than the days before. You have no urge or desire to get out of bed. Every ounce of your being is saying “Get up! Get up!” but you just can’t make your body cooperate. What’s making you feel this way?
Maybe it’s the thought of doing the same old, same old, day in and day out without any breaks in this routine. Wake up. Get dressed. Go to work. Come home. Eat dinner. Go to bed. And repeat the next day and the next. There’s no fun or spontaneity in this at all. Working just to pay bills. Living just to exist because that’s what we’re supposed to do right?

People and things will come and go, but you shouldn’t depend on them for your happiness and purpose. Your happiness and purpose should start from within and radiate outwards.
