You know what to do but just can’t just can’t seem to catch your breath.
A theme that I have been hearing a lot lately in my coaching conversations is that implementing resilience strategies can feel stressful when you’re up against a workload that feels unmanageable.
Here’s what can help to combat that stress – focus on these four Ds:
What can you delegate and thus develop your team?
What can you delete?
What can you defer?- what you need to do now, what can be done later?
What can you deconstruct? – what would happen if you acknowledged that you do not need to strive for perfection all the time or that it is not all resting on your shoulders?
As you read this, pause for just a moment…breathe and consider: What would happen if you reframed your perspective? What would happen if you re-examined your standard and looked for wiggle room to scale back? What would happen if you acknowledged that this is just one moment in time?
Remember that the one thing you can always come back to is your breath to help you move from moment to moment.
