The Dreamer Mentality

We are punished for dreaming. Dreams are the most powerful things humans have at their disposal. Unfortunately, many humans only dream at night.
Anybody who believes in a full-on God is seen as romantic. Anybody who believes in a materialistic view is seen as a rationalist. What about someone who thinks of idealism without religion? I’m an idealist who believes in future possibilities that seem supernatural, not necessarily in the breaking physical laws sense, but in breaking what humans see as possible within themselves and others. I’m an idealist who sees the future of other humans and civilization as a whole merrily, even if the road to getting there is not always clear. This is why I chose the profession of a life coach.
What happens when you break away from a specific ideology? Perhaps that’s what happened with MLK, who broke away from the doctrine of segregation and embodied a new reality so well he acted like we were equal. His vision was so powerful that not only did he believe it, it gave others so much comfort and hope that they chose to live in his reality. When we all share one everyday reality, we suddenly become a powerful, cohesive force that overthrows dictatorships and takes us to the moon.
