Social Media/Networking.... Yes! or No!

Is the world becoming too advance or is it we are not advanced enough?
Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Orkut
Do any of those websites ring a bell?
Many of you either know of it, has a friend that uses it or even better you have used it your self.
Currently, it is 2012 and those websites I have named are at the forefront of social media/networking.

For some of you, I know you’re thinking that’s just too much technology.
Maybe you are thinking why doesn’t anyone pick up a phone to talk to others.
What about reading a newspaper or watching the news to keep up with the times.
Well, while all of that is still very useful social media/networking offers something those things do not.
The ability to connect with others all over the globe at a moments notice and it’s all free accept with the cost of your internet connection of course. Social media/networking allows you to reach the masses and go far beyond local borders.

With the advancement of social media it has made many things easier in our everyday lives such as finding out what the hotspot is in town, showing off pics of a recent adventure, sharing music and files, marketing, meetup groups and overall sharing information.

At this point social media/networking is important to everyone for various reasons and as a human culture without it we might as well be robots. Did you know the median age for Facebook users is 38!(http://www.allfacebook.com).

Therefore, before you turn the other cheek to social media/networking you should go ahead and give it a shot. Many websites are geared for various networking aspects and there is a social website out there for everyone.
