Actionable resilience to avoid burnout... The psychology of resilience and why it doesn't have to just be a buzz word (or for some, a bad word, gasp).
We can talk about resilience all day… it’s been a buzz word for the last 5 years, and in some circles it became a bad word. But it only becomes meaningful when you know how it applies to you personally.
Research supports the fact that, when reaching a crossroads, people choose a path – either to go forward and persevere or to quit. Psychologists agree that 60-70% of our resilience is learned… Developed over time… developed as we face adverse circumstances in life or work. The problem is that most of the time what we learn is to avoid adversity. But what happens when the adversity is unavoidable? How can our learned resilience help us then?
My coaching strategy is to have an integral approach to achieving actionable resilience that sees you through adversity and gives you the tools to be able to bounce back faster and keep moving forward. This kind of resilience is connected to:
1. Decreased stress
2. Lower likeliness of burnout
3. Better job satisfaction
4. Better working relationships
But resilience doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Let me guide you to find the best path to your own personal elevated resilience.
