Develop Strategic Thinking to Become Worth a Six or Seven Figure Salary

Strategic thinkers think pattern-based vs. data-base. The VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) evolves and revolves as patterns.
Ever wonder what makes a C-level executive or a business owner worth 6 or 7 figure salaries?
Simply put, they are able to apply pattern-based thinking to the strategic level of business.
So many people use “strategic” without really understanding the term, much less the operation. The strategic level is emergent; presenting as VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity). This means it is in constant flux presenting as chaos. In simplistic terms, “chaos is the absence of patterns” (Margaret Wheatley). Strategic thinkers are able to determine developing patterns and/or to cause patterns to develop by creating and emplacing what is called strange attractors. Strange attractors serve as nodes of certainty that cause patterns to develop in chaos. Think of a sheet of pater as chaos and a doodle or word as a strange attractor. This reducing the chaos makes the future a more manageable thing (one cannot manage chaos).
Being able to discern or create patterns means they can operate faster decision cycles that that of competitors. This provides significant advantage. For example, Steve Jobs was able to discern and create patterns revolving on technology devices working in constellations. He saw the emergent need and was able to develop strategic patterns to meet that need. Another great example is Elon Musk and Tesla. He went beyond the vehicle to see and create patterns of systems that combined to make the Tesla a viable option for consumers.
Yes!! Strategic Thinking can be developed!. Education can provide a foundation. But practice makes perfect. Coaching can provide that practice.
