A native of Tooele, Ryan Bowen Utah has the entrepreneurship spirit of the beehive state. Bowen has been flipping cars and houses since long before most business hopefuls learned how to put a car in drive; the early entrepreneurship just set aside the monies to eventually help him carry out a vision that would transform whole industries around the state of Utah, and beyond.
The Bottle-less Water Revolution
Ryan Bowen Utah, at just a young age of 19 years understood where others saw an inconvenience. Practices in bottled-water systems in offices were common-and Bowen had an idea that would take them to the next level- a greener, much more efficient idea. In Salt Lake City, he established Pure water Solutions of America and was the first person to introduce bottle-less water system. His strategy was not only innovative but was service oriented, environment friendly, and was quickly expanded to cover Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Washington, and Nevada. Under his stewardship, Pure Water Solutions achieved the largest office drinking-water company in the world an exit that would become a historic moment in all other of his ventures to come.
From Ice Systems to Brand Building
Similarly to the way he did it with water, Ryan Bowen Utah ruined the failing ice machine industry. His company did not sell hardware per se, it treated the water and merely leased the set systems, providing maintenance and increasing the equipment life span. With this service-first approach, the way businesses approached ice systems was changed, and the approach was quickly emulated by numerous other competitors following Bowen.
Bowen also established Bowen Investments more than twenty-five years ago, through which he financed real estate flips, hard money lending and strategic investments in more than twenty-five companies, all with his ever-present get-it-done attitude.
Wellness & Hospitality: A Bold Pivot
Ryan Bowen Utah has grown today to be wellness as well as hospitality with equal grace. He is co-owner of King B Distribution, a portfolio of legal botanical wellness products – having launched Kush Kube to LFG Kratom and more. These products are not only fashionable, but also known leaders- and King B was just awarded 1 st place as Best Utah Cannabis Edibles.
In between, his ingenuity in hospitality has produced such standout brands as Sundays Best, Sunday School and Brunch Me Hard. Later on in 2025, he opened up, Pica Rica BBQ, an energetic and bright BBQ establishment that won Best New Concept of 2025, and one of the best BBQ beginnings in the country.
Building and Investing in Infrastructure
That is not all, Ryan Bowen Utah is a partner in the BCC Construction which is assisting in the commercial and residential development of Utah. He has also had investments with Icon Meals, which is a high protein, chef-made meal distribution service that works within the United States. His simple philosophy has always been to find under-served markets and scale up solutions to become category leaders.
Heart-Led Leadership: Philanthropy Meets Entrepreneurship
In addition to business, Ryan Bowen Utah is monolithic in terms of returning the favor. He is often requested to speak at Utah State Prison, recovery centers and open community venues where he tells his story and gives hope. At each holiday season he gives contributions to hundreds of needy families in his home town, Tooele. He can do more than writing checks and it is important to show up, to mentor his people, and actively enrich his community.
His business philosophy is obvious: profits are not all that matters in business creating a purpose, people, and positive impact.
