Is it possible to create abundance and be surrounded by poverty at the same time? Yes, it is possible and even in this bad economy. Here's how...
How to Create Abundance When I am Surrounded by Poverty?
Let me ask you a question.
How is it that the most successful and abundant people in the world donate their time, money and energy working in some of the poorest countries in the world and still remain abundant. These people include, Oprah Winfrey, Madonna, Natalie Portman, Brad Pit and Angelina Jolie.
And guess what? Even though they surround themselves in poverty they manage to create and manifest even more abundance.
Here’s what I am getting at.
Believe it or not, being surrounded by poverty does not make us poor.
Why? Because the root cause of poverty is caused by believing poverty thoughts. These thoughts include:
- I can’t, life is too hard
- I am supposed to be poor
- What’s the point
- I can’t make it
- There is no hope for me
- Life will not get better from me
- I don’t know how
- I can’t learn how
- Why even try
- There are no opportunities for me…
But don’t take my word for it. Discover how the poverty thoughts listed above create and manifest poverty by asking yourself and answering the following questions:
1. How do you feel when you believe these thoughts? 2. What kinds of things do you do when you believe these thoughts? 3. How do you treat others when you believe these thoughts? 4. How do others treat you? 5. What events and circumstances does the universe line up for you when you believe these thoughts? 6. What are the end results of believing these thoughts?Do you see the pattern here?
The good news is that even though you might be surrounded by poverty day in and day out that doesn’t mean that anyone can force you to believe poverty thoughts.
Here’s the most important part of this blog post…
You were born free to believe any thoughts you choose in any environments and under any circumstances. Yes, you heard me correct. That means that even if the whole world is believing poverty thoughts and creating and manifesting poverty, you don’t have to.
And the result of this freedom we were given? The bottom line is that we can choose to think and believe abundant thoughts like:
- I can do this
- There are opportunities for me
- I am willing to look for opportunities to better myself
- There are people who care about me and are willing to help me
- I can learn
- I am willing to do what it takes to reach my goals
- What can I try differently
- Who can I ask
- Life is worth it
- I am worth it
- I can take one step at a time to create what I want
- I can do what it takes to achieve my goals
- Life does support me
- I am loved and appreciated
….and create abundance yourself.
But don’t stop there. You have to experience and know that these thoughts manifest and create abundance for yourself. How do you do that? You do it by asking and answering the following questions:
1. What does believing these abundant thoughts create for you? 2. How do you feel when you believe these thoughts? 3. What kinds of things do you do when you believe these thoughts? 4. How do you treat others when you believe these thoughts? 5. How do others respond to you? 6. What events and circumstances does the universe line up for you when you believe these thoughts?Best of all, you can influence others who think poverty thoughts to believe abundant thoughts.
Yes, there will be times when you will hear someone speak a poverty thought like, “I can’t do this, it is too difficult” and you can respond gently with an abundant thought like, “yes, it may be difficult but I am willing to help you and we can do this together”.
Responding and influencing others with abundant thoughts will not only reinforce your own belief in abundance but it may help others gradually see that the world can be an abundant and a friendly place to live in.
