ThE mAGicK of BEing 6 ... aGAin

A Coach, a Rocket Scientist for Santa, and BEing eternally young ...
This past Friday, I was on a plane to Phoenix, as a trained and certified coach I attend courses to deepen my understanding and proficiency of what I do!
As I got on the plane, an aisle seat was open with two young ladies … I sat down. “Hello, I am Jim” … “Hello, this is Imira and my sister Kiki. I am 7 and she is 5.” As the plane took off, Imira brought a notebook out and said she had to write a story about this trip to read to her class next week.
“Wanna write a fun story” I asked … “Sure” she said … and I smiled … and we wrote.
“On the plane I met jim. He is a rocket scientist who works for Santa. He is coming down to Phoenix to check on the reindeer. The reindeer live outside Phoenix at a secret location. Jim is coming down to check on them and to make sure the magic corn is getting grown right. I promised not to tell anyone about Santa’s secret.”
Wide eyed, they both asked questions – I told them about the little rockets on each reindeer and on the sleigh … Of course the reindeer live outside Phoenix, there is nothing but snow at the North Pole … what would they eat otherwise … Phoenix is the safe place where no one would think to look for them … yes, there is magic corn, but for the last few hundred years, the little rockets assist the reindeer and keep Santa on course … yes, I know you will read this story in class, it is OK, the big people will not believe you anyway … of course Santa has a rocket scientist … yes, I’m really 6 and I have been 6 for 238 years (this one always takes a bit of convincing …)
The magic of young people is they still have the ability to be fully present and let their mind expand and take in a new version to an old story …
The next week, somewhere in the Salt Lake Valley, a young lady will read a story to the class … and I smile … Being 6 is such a magickal experience …
And the course … out of this course I took this weekend will be refining how I coach – when I deepen the understanding of humanity (in this case, of the women and understanding how their mind works … AMAZING course … shifted the context of my understanding)
The joy of what I do gets even better … and the joy which gets created in my clients life gets better …
Life is simply amazing … off to get those reports done for Santa …
