Did you know that having a grateful mindset can support you in attracting more of what you want in your life.
The Power of Gratitude
As we move into the holiday season, you tend to hear people talking about what they are grateful for more than any other time of the year. Another time you hear people talking about how grateful they are is when disaster occur. What about the rest of the year? We should be grateful 365 days a year, all day long. One can never be too grateful.
Being grateful is more than about the obvious things, such as a roof over your head, food to eat, clothes, etc.
1. It is also about the little things that make up the universe, such as the sun, trees, moon, stars, wildlife, flowers, mountains, etc.
2. The things we encounter on a daily basis that we sometimes take for granted.
3. The people we encounter during the day that make a difference in our lives.
4. The conversations that we find ourselves in that make us think about something differently. 5. The gratitude shown to us when we make a difference in someone else’s life.If more people really knew what being grateful would do for their overall existence, I believe they would definitely acknowledge more often than not, what they are grateful for. You would be able to walk down the street and just hear people in their moments of gratitude. Imagine that!
Being grateful:
Supports you in attracting what you want in your life, since the law of attraction states that you bring into your life the things you think about and focus on.
Keeps you from thinking negatively – When you are focused on your blessings, there is no room for negative thoughts.
Fuel for better relationships – One of the first words we learn as children is Thank You. This is a perfect example of showing gratitude. Being appreciative to others for what they do is definitely an ingredient for nurturing good relationships, wouldn’t you say?
Supports in problem solving – When we think about what we are grateful for, our minds respond to problems as journeys with new possibilities, instead of a problem with no solution.
Supports us in learning – Being grateful for our situation, no matter what that looks like is probably the most difficult, especially if we don’t like everything about it. Look at this way, it is an opportunity to learn something new.
I could go on and on about the benefits of being grateful.
Being Grateful is a choice that is free.
It is a healthy choice, mainly because it eliminates stress, and is the main ingredient towards living a life of abundance and joy.
I encourage you to look at the things in your life both good and bad and apply gratitude. Write down three things you are grateful for and why for the next 21 days.
I guarantee you that you will feel better and you will begin to attract what you want in your life. This will only work if you play full out.
Many Blessings To You and Yours
