What Is A Life Coach?

Posted on March 19, 2013 by Denise Denny, One of Thousands of Life Coaches on Noomii.

Helping others to find out how they can make more money, end procrastination, experience more fulfilling relationships, or gain more confidence?

I am a Life Coach. What is a Life Coach? According to Merriam Webster Dictionary, a Life Coach is “An advisor who helps people make decisions, set and reach goals, or deal with problems”. From Wikipedia, a Life Coach is (a person) “Helping people identify and achieve personal goals”. The Cambridge Dictionary explains that a Life Coach is, “Someone who helps clients decide what they want in life and how to achieve it”. I think to myself, “What could be better than to help others to find out how they can make more money, end procrastination, experience more fulfilling relationships, or gain more confidence? I am asked things like, “What can I do to increase my income”? Sometimes clients want to know how they can restore the spark in their relationship, or get him/her back. They sometimes tell me that they are afraid to venture into a new job or a new business, or even a new relationship. I show them how to stop their fear, which is most likely one of the things that is holding them back from achieving their dreams.

At some time in all our lives, we tend to get in our own way. Each of us from time to time, tend to allow our selves to hold us back. Even Tony Robbins, a Life Coach, himself, employs a Life Coach. For him, having a Life Coach is not a luxury, but rather a necessity. This allows for a better chance of maintaining his incredibly rich level of success. This is what I wish to do for you!
