Being powerful in your life.
Have you ever been around someone whose energy mesmerized you? These are the people we are all attracted to; the individuals we want to marry, hangout with, hire, and incorporate into our lives.
Why are they so attractive? Because they are so inspiring, and optimism and passion bring life! There’s a quote by Margaret Mead:
“Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
I believe that committed individuals, who consciously choose to make a positive impact in their personal and professional lives, are the happiest people on the planet. They intentionally choose to make the world – their home, workplace, and environment – a better place.
Do you consider yourself to be a passionate leader?
A leader – who me??? Leadership is in the heart of every human being. You may not see yourself as a leader, yet in reality, we are all leaders in our own lives – we are leading our families, taking responsibility for our relationships, running a business or an organization, or simply leading our own lives.
Optimism, motivation and inspiration spring from a place of passion and purpose; when we lead with passion, we feel inspired. The most powerful thing about passion is that it is a heart-felt energy that flows through us. When we connect to passion, it becomes like a conduit that ignites our hearts and contagiously infects the world around us.
Passionate people affect the world around them with positivity and grace. Just like light fills a room and overcomes darkness, passion brings courage wherever there is fear, hope doubt and limiting beliefs; it brings optimism to accomplish what may seem impossible. Passion is like a fire, and when we share it, it brings life!

Well you are, so embrace it. Understand that there are many factors to becoming a powerful leader in your life, and choose to rise to the challenge.
The essentials that passionate leaders employ are that they:
• Have a strong sense of purpose and a clear vision
• Commit from the heart
• Live from their values
• Know what is most important
• Have integrity and build trust
• Lead by example
• Pursue personal growth
• Remain teachable
• Foster creativity and innovation in their lives
• Stay conscious about guarding their passion and aliveness so they don’t become stagnant and dull
• Keep their edge, which means living with aliveness, purpose and spunk
Stop and think about the times when you were passionate and aligned with your true essence:
• What was the impact that you made?
• How willing were you to make an effort to do what you needed to succeed?
• How motivated were you to push through your fears and see your vision become a reality?
Stirring up passion in your life is what will grow your confidence, help you muster up courage and inspire your peak performance. When you tap into the extraordinary potential that is within you, you will experience results that you never dreamed were possible.
