Stop searching for your Dreams

Posted on October 31, 2013 by Ashley Sibille, One of Thousands of Life Coaches on Noomii.

Stop searching for your dreams and start living your dreams.

Sometimes the process of being in “search of your dreams” can be a distraction from what is true for you. You can spend your whole life searching for an answer without ever understanding that the answer was already within you.

A dream can be illusive and seem out of reach. So, stop searching for your dreams and rather start creating your dreams. Visualize what you want. If you aren’t sure of what you want then take a baby step in the direction that pleases you most. Sometimes what gets in the way in our pursuit of a dream is the fear of not getting it right. So let’s take “getting it right” off of the table. Life can be messy and sometimes a mistake is the best way to learn something. Mistakes help you recognize your strengths and pin point weak spots. Besides you can never really know what you really want if you haven’t discovered what you don’t want. Giving yourself the freedom to explore your dreams is the first step to realizing your dreams.

A dream can be a someday reality or it can be one that you attain over and over again. It’s really about your point of reference and whether or not you are willing to take a chance and willing to fall down. So the second step is taking an action. Going after your true desire takes perseverance and commitment. Does that sound hard? Believe me it’s much harder when you beat yourself up for what you could have done or never tried to do then it is to just try something new.

So stop searching for your dreams and start living them, right now. Not tomorrow when it’s more comfortable or when your ducks are in a row. The time for creating a life that you love and are excited to wake up to is NOW. Be brave and fight for what is burning inside you to be expressed. Start living your dream today!
