What if all it took to get through anything was having a partner? Life partner? Partner in crime? Dance partner?
Sometimes we think we know all there is to know about life until…..BAMMMM, along comes a curve ball.
Now what?
As an Operations Strategy coach, I create partnership with you to explore the unknown. This allows you to excel at what you are great at, teach the things you know, and learn the things others know.
I learned from my brother (fictitious “partner in crime”) that men and women first got married so they could help each other by carrying belongings, keeping a lookout for each other, and raising children while the other hunted.
Oh, how far we’ve come…Or have we?
Now partners come in all shapes and sizes: Lab partners, teammates, business partners, and so on. What partners do you have in your life? When are they the most helpful to you and you to them? What are the things they know that you don’t and that you know that they don’t? Do you teach each other; or learn from each other?
I contend that everyone we ever meet is our partner in the moment. Whether it is in a relationship as a friend, spouse, or sibling, or people we pass as we are walking, driving, railroad traveling, or flying along. What can they teach us? How is their demeanor? Energy? Approach-ability? Do you admire them? Despise them? Are intrigued by them?
