EDUCATION AND BEING EDUCATED

We all know that education is the bare minimum necessity to survive in this World.We are supposed to be knowledgeable,skilled in some areas of life and it can only be possible through the education.It is the consumption and acquisition of knowledge and application of mind to that knowledge.This is the theoretical way we understand education.But this does not mean if we gain knowledge or bagged educational qualification,we are educated.We are just certified.

Being educated means,the application of knowledge along with proper behavioral attribute.The Bible says in Proverbs 18:15 “An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.”The traditional education system does not make somebody educated.it just makes somebody qualified.If we apply our education by seeking the Wisdom of God,we behave as educated.If it is a continuous practice,we are titled as educated.It is written in Proverbs 16:16 How much better [is it] to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!The way we behave with people within our family,friends,relatives,needy and poor,auto drivers,cash clerks reflects whether actually we are educated.accumulating certifications,awards and degrees are just feathers in the cap and looks good in our CV.Thus,The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding.(Proverbs 9:10)

Let us be wise enough to put our traditional education into day-to-day behavioral practice which will put us in line to be called as educated and not just only certified.
