Strong Independence

How does it truly manifest?
Tight and healthy attachment to parents at a young age, is what frees us from the doubt or fear of facing the world. This kind of relationship with parents enables us to become strong independent adults.
While the lack of attachment actually produces adults that cannot seem to be truly independent.
They seek attachment and independence and, at the same time, fear it.
The answer and relief is, I think, in the relying on the One that created the parents to begin with.
For no therapy can fill in the void of the past.
Also, the void of the past was there for a reason.
And the reason might have been to push us to look up for something greater and stronger.
