For Empaths and HSPs (highly sensitives) , Food and Other things...

Empaths and Sensitives, Food and Other things...

- Go to bed before 10pm if you can (or at midnight the latest) this will enable you to wake up NATURALLY at 7am, or a little before, and this is good for you to…
- Meditate! And get ahead of your day, before the hustle and bustle starts. As you are very sensitive and often stressed out, this will give you a sense of control and ownership over your day (and life)
- Sleeping within these hours will also nurture your body and prevent you from getting overweight (which empaths often suffer from because of the comforting effect of sugar and food in general)
- Take a heavy and nurturing breakfast, (no sugar, low carbs and proteins), e.g: bread, cheese, rice, olives, nuts, etc…Avoid coffee and tea completely. Drink green tea instead. This will ground you and make your meditation easier
- Eat often. Because you get overwhelmed easily, you can skip a meal just because you are stressed out and think you are not hungry. You must eat however to maintain your stress level at the lowest and keep yourself grounded and calm. So even when you are not hungry, try to eat every 5 hours. Proteins and magnesium food are excellent for you! (bananas, nuts, cashew nuts, etc…) or a complete meal if you can (low carbs and proteins). Remember that you do not want to wait until you starve to eat. At that point, you are already nervous and you do not know it. Others can deal with starving better than you, so do not try to mimic them!
- Remember it is not because something is dead in your plate that it did not feel emotions before, like fear, terror, panic…you are also eating that, specially as an empath, so choose your high energy and “respectful” food.
- Let yourself FEEL. Do not shrink or be ashamed of your sensitivity. Allow the emotions to flow and sink in within your body. Do not flee from them. Allow your body to move the way you need to, when you need to. Be aware. E.g. Take breaks at work, stand up and walk, etc…
SELECT the emotions you wish to feel from others consciously (yes you can, just practice that until you master it)
- Be in contact with others and engage with them constantly! The best jobs for you is NOT to avoid people but the opposite. You are a nurturer and a loving and caring person.
- Teach what you like, share, talk to people, go out with friends and let the selected ones hug you, do coaching , lead a team…Just be with people
- Take long walks, be in nature, and with animals if you can, feel the sun and the wind, acknowledge your gift, acknowledge nature’s nurturing protection over you
In other words, as we are all different, embrace your difference and live like you should to honor your path. Remember fellow empaths, you detect and read the energy around you.
