About a month ago, we announced that we were going to change the coach matching system and get rid of the bidding points. Today, the new system is live!
Gone are the bidding points.

More changes coming
The new system is new to us too. We expect some growing pains. Over the next few weeks, we will be adjusting and tweaking the system to make it easier to use.

I am trying to recommend myself but nothing happens.

What is happening? Can you provide more details?
1. You log into Noomii
2. You go to the Client Leads page
3. You click on one of the open leads
4. You click on the “Recommend Yourself” button
5. And then what happens?

Also, what kind of computer and browser do you use? Mac or PC? Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, or something else?
After I do steps 1-4 then nothing happens. I am on a Mac using Safari
Thanks Nancy. We are tracking down the issue. It appears to be affecting a small number of people. Unfortunately, you (and Caterina) are one of them.

So what can I do in the meantime to place a recommendation? There is a lead now which is in my city that I would be a good match.
Can NOOMII REALLY work for me with the new system?

I have been a paid subscriber in the past, and have gotten very little business from Noomii. I have looked at some of the newer completion, but would like to stay with Noomi.
My experience with the bid system has been that I was outbid at the last minute in over 90% of the opportunities because I could sit at my computer and play the game. I got tired of wasting my time so I went to a free listing; I am hopeful that the new system works better, but I am hesitant to buy back in without some assurance. I would happily rejoin the program if it provides me with reasonable ROI.
What I would like to see”
1. Providing a filter of preferred types of coaching, so I do not need to scan every opportunity every day.
2. Assurance that when there is a good match, I will be submitted for a reasonable number of opportunities
3. Limited number of coaches submitted to the client so they and carefully consider the matches.
4. See more opportunities in the US Midwest, and specifically Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky
I really like you concept, and am very happy to see you try to improve it. My issue is simply that I am an effective, but unconventional coach, so that effective matching is critical. When I get to talk to prospects, I have won over 80% of the opportunities. So it is very important to me to get to that point.

I also tried to post on another computer (PC) instead of the Mac and it still did not work. I have also tried using several different browsers without success on both computers. Any way to send you the lead recommendation while the issue is being addressed?
Hi Art,
All of your requests are coming as a result of the new matching system. We have to do one thing at a time but we definitely want to make it easier and less time consuming for you as a coach, to be able to zero in on your ideal clients. And when an ideal client comes along, that you get matched with them.
We’re not completely there yet but that’s the direction we’re heading in.

@ Nancy & Caterina: I know we reached out to you by email but for others facing the same issue, it’s now fixed.
I have not gotten one nibble with the new system. I try to write to one or two prospective clients daily, but often the first one gets on the recommended list for a client, but the second one doesn’t. How many clients should we expect to reach in a day, given the client’s need matches? I’ve gone months now without a new client. Most don’t call stil!!
