Essential Mindset To Accomplish Your Goals

Setting goals can be intimidating.

I never set goals for myself until I became a life coach. I never knew where to start. I was unsure of what exactly I wanted to do. I had tons of ideas but could never narrow it down to one and create action around it.

Coming up with ideas isn’t the hard part. It’s deciding which idea to act on. Which one is so important to you that you want to make a reality? Once you get to this point, things just become harder.

It’s hard to narrow down and decide on ONE thing.
It’s hard to create action when you don’t even know where to begin.
It’s hard to go outside your comfort zone and take the first step towards this goal.

Setting goals are hard because you have to face yourself. You have to go within and ask yourself what you want and why.

What no one really talks about is the mindset work that is essential to accomplish your goals. You can set goals for yourself all day long but if your mindset isn’t right, you will never accomplish your goals.

This transformative year has really challenged my mindset. While setting goals for myself has become easier, dealing with my mindset has been a constant challenge.

Having a life coach has helped me so much with my mindset. We naturally default to the negative. It’s what our society has taught us and has become a subconscious defense mechanism. Having a life coach has helped me break free of these subconscious societal norms and make clear what my heart truly desires.
