What is Embodiment?

We often think of our body as simply physical — a vehicle that helps us walk, run, stretch, and function. But embodiment invites us to go deeper.
We often think of our body as simply physical — a vehicle that helps us walk, run, stretch, and function. Sometimes it supports us. Other times, pain, illness, or injury gets in the way.
But embodiment invites us to go deeper.
It’s the practice of reconnecting with the body not just as a physical form but as a living, sensing, knowing part of who we are.
Embodiment is the integration of the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and even social aspects of our being. It’s the subjective experience of the body, how we feel it from within, and how that awareness shapes how we live, relate, and show up in the world.
When we practice embodiment, we’re not just “in” a body — we are with it. We listen, sense, and align with it — creating real, sustainable change from the inside out.
