The Makings of a Strong Intelligent Relationship
Would you like to be in a relationship where the other is strong, to be counted on to stick around when things get difficult, to agree to disagree? To let it be?
This means allowing imperfection in the midst of the greatness that this relationship holds that is bigger than the both of you. This means finding the ugly within the beautiful! Because within what you think is junk there are golden nuggets of opportunity to learn and grow. This is what relationship is about.
You attract what you resonate with. Some of what you resonate may be in what Jung called the shadow. What you may find ugly in yourself may be beautiful in the other. Relationships are golden opportunities for each of you to learn and grow at a very deep level only if you and face each other knowing this is actually an Alchemical vessel – you are here to stay – as long as all of what you find ugly transforms into gold.
And some issues will never be resolved and we have to say to that “let it be.”
And through this we continue to love each other. This is the strength of love the intelligence of love, the endless growing and learning more about each other through the alchemical vessel of intimate relationship.
In this era we are told it is time to hold the opposite and combine them within ourselves. We also have that chance to do that in relationship – to hold opposing thoughts between the two and not only thrive, but grow larger than the relationship itself.
This makes opposition a gift. A challenge to be met in a new way, one in which to learn and grow from, a place from which to discover more about one’s self and the other’s self.
This is evolution within relationship and within ourselves.
