Dear Awesome Woman,
I just returned from a long trip. I spent hours shlepping suitcases, unpacking and repacking for long and short airline flights and long and short car rides. Years ago, I would have suffered terrible body pain – aches in my hips, aches in my legs, neck and shoulders. I would have curtailed my travels (in addition to curtailing gardening and exercise).
I no longer need to do this. Instead, I take my Mind-body tools with me – those which include the wisdom of Dr. Sarno and Dr. Peter Levine. I can travel long trips, garden and exercise because I no longer believe that those aches and pains come from physical movement or from herniated discs, inflammation, sciatica or plantar fascitis.
