We all have potential. Will yours just remain potential, or are you going to make a move? It is scary but, overtime it'll make you feel good again.
“In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” -Abraham Lincoln
Happiness and fulfillment…two tricky concepts and both can be feeling based. Yet, we are all in pursuit of those feelings. Not only that, but many of us yearn to make a difference and find purpose.
While roaming this earth, I do believe we are meant to give and receive love, and that we deserve to find our purpose. For some, it is simple. Their career is what they wanted, their family is just right, their house…whatever. They wake up each day knowing what they want. Bravo (Don’t worry, they have their struggles too.)!
On the flip side…
the rest of us aren’t finding things to be so simple. We might have hit some roadblocks, feel discouraged, struggle to let go of adverse beliefs, and allow self-doubt and negative self-talk to hold us back. Truly, we are preventing ourselves from the greatness we absolutely have stored inside.
Why? We are “co-dependent”…
We are seeking love, support and approval from others, and we are using their opinions or perspectives to dictate and define our success; others such as: our parents, bosses, spouses, children or even social media. It can be miserable, and cause us to lose the drive we need to take control.
It’s time to start owning it yourself!
Take responsibility for your own life. After all, it is never too late to try again, meet new people, take chances and do more of what you want to do. Overcome fear, work to pinpoint or remember your inner desires, allow new mistakes to be made, be motivated to stay on course and be inspired when doubt creeps in.
You must work to uncover your desired purpose, make a plan for success, take responsibility for your life, let go of negative self-talk and stick with it. NO, not easy, and is scary but, overtime you will begin to feel good.
We all have potential.
Will yours just remain potential, or are you going to do something about it?
