We as humans love certainty. When we move away from what we know, that can create fear…
Fear of the unknown (aka Anxiety)
Fear that we created harm (aka guilt)
That feeling of FEAR is NOT YOUR FAULT. That’s biology doing its job.
The gift of fear is an indicator that something is different.
One thing I’ve learned is…
You have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable faster.
Change is going to be uncomfortable. That’s inevitable. BUT you have the capacity to sit in that discomfort of creating change. That is your evolutionary potential as a human. You have the power to turn the DISCOMFORT of change into the EXCITEMENT of change.
• If YOU want to make changes to your physical health, then YOU’VE gotta make changes to the way you treat your body.
• If YOU want to make changes in your relationships, then YOU’VE gotta make changes in the way you take responsibility in your relationships.
• If YOU want to make changes in your finances, then YOU’VE gotta make changes to the way YOU think about and utilize money.
The key word in all those statements is YOU. Not your doctor…your coach…your sponsor…your partner…or your government. YOU.
The difference between Destiny and Fate is the power of choice. With Fate, you float down the river and the river chooses the direction you take. With Destiny, you float down the river, put your paddle in the water, and YOU choose the direction you take.
If YOU want to make some changes, then YOU’VE gotta make some changes.
It’s time to put your paddle in the water.
