Bad Day or Good Day - It's Your Choice!
You have the opportunity to choose how you respond to every thing in life...make it a good day!
Are you having a bad day? Your alarm didn’t go off? You stubbed your toe getting out of bed? Your check engine light came on in your car on your way to work? You got held up in traffic because you were later?
Is it a bad day? Did you catch yourself saying, “I can’t wait for this day to end?” Those words, those thoughts, those feelings, those emotions will begin to dominate your entire day. It’s your choice. Is that the type of day you desire?
Scientists suggest that we have up to 60,000 thoughts a day and 96% of them are unconsciously processed. What if you switched your thinking and made a conscious decision to have a great day?
What if you were able to be grateful that the alarm went off late allowing you to catch up on needed sleep? Or what if stubbing your toe made you slow down so you didn’t feel so rushed?
Or you saw your check engine light as a good thing allowing you to get into the shop before it became serious. Or you were able to use that time sitting in traffic, to stop and breathe and get centered and present for the day? Is it now a good day? It’s your choice! If you look at what is right with each situation, you are more likely to have a much better day.
