Entry Details

The contest is open until December 16th, 2011. This is your opportunity to show the world your expertise, practical tips, feel-good stories, and creative genius. Here are just a few topics that you could write about:

  • generosity
  • volunteerism
  • philanthropy
  • reciprocity
  • micro finance
  • psychology of giving

Write about a topic that is near and dear to your heart. The contest is open to coaches, their clients, bloggers, and anybody else who would like to participate.

Entry deadline is Friday December 16th, 2011

How It Works

  1. Enter the contest by December 16th, 2011.
  2. Email your post to stephan@noomii.com as a shared Google Doc or in Word (i.e. file extension .doc or .docx) format. All entries are due by December 16th.
  3. If your post meets all of our posting guidelines (below), we’ll publish it on our blog. Articles will be published, one per day, in the order that we receive them.
  4. The top three posts that receive the highest scores win cash prizes.

How the Scoring Works

Each blog post will be scored based on the amount of social sharing that occurs on the blog post during the first two weeks that it is published as well as a quality score provided by our judges.

Social scoring

One points will be awarded for each:

  • Social share on Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus.
  • Comment on the post itself. Comments made by the author don’t count but we still encourage you to respond to all comments posted on your article to further engage your audience.

Judge scoring

Additional points will be awarded by our judges for

  • creativity
  • originality
  • writing style
  • x-factor

$1500 in Cash Prizes

1st Prize: $1000 cash
2nd Prize: $300 cash
3rd Prize: $200 cash

Post Guidelines

  1. Guest posts must be at least 500 words.
  2. Please provide genuine value in your article. The article is not intended to be a promotional piece.
  3. Feel free to link to external websites or embed video. Avoid promotional links to your own website unless there is a good reason for the links. Links to your website or blog will be included in your bio.
  4. Keep your post relevant to the overall theme of the contest.
  5. All posts require at least one photo or image that will be prominently displayed at the top of the article. You must have the rights to the photo you would like to use or provide proper attribution.
  6. Your post must be original content not previously published anywhere.
