Day 12: Thank a Do-Gooder

Acts of Kindness - Thank a Do-GooderAs the Kindness Polar Bear, I’ve been reminded of something that is easily forgotten, especially during long and cold winter nights when the wind is ripping by. I’m reminded that kindness is all around us.

For today’s AoK, your job is to stop what you’re doing and acknowledge a do-gooder in the act. For example, when you see someone open the door for someone else, run up to them and say “that was nice of you to hold the door open, thanks for being kind.”

Seeing and acknowledging the kindness around you has a positive ripple effect. So go out there and create ripples.

But before you go, I have one more way that you can participate today. My generous life coaching friends at have 10 Kindness Ambassador t-shirts that need to be given away to worthy candidates and they need your help.

Please leave a comment below telling us about an all-around do-gooder in your life. You know the type. That special someone with a big heart that rarely seeks attention. Someone that naturally channels their time and talents into making life better for those around them, including you. Someone who lights you up when the world feels cold and dark.

The 10 stories that get the most likes and comments by the end of day 15 will receive a Kindness Ambassador t-shirt to be given to that special do-gooder worthy of praise. Spread the kindness!
